CAMPBELL FALLS STATE PARK

The water drops over a large fall into what looks like a small gorge or a very large crack in the rock hillside. The water then falls over another smaller fall to the bottom of the hill.

Directions

From the Route 44 and Route 272 intersection that is north of Norfolk center, north on Route 272 for 4.1 miles crossing into Massachusetts. Turn left at Campbel Falls State park sign. This is a dirt road named Campell Falls Road. Continue along dirt road for .4 miles.

Top of Falls

There is a parking area right before a stone bridge. Park here to see the top of the falls.

Bottom of Falls

In order to reach the bottom of the falls, there is a parking area about .1 miles closer to Route 272 from the stone bridge. There is a monument here marking the border between Connecticut and Massachusetts.
